Grant Awarding Committee

Aims

The role of the Grant Awarding Committee is to take care of the smooth functioning of the ParAqua Grant Awarding system. This includes preparing and opening grant calls, informing the project participants and other interested parties (especially students), and together with the MC members taking the lead in the evaluation of applications and the reports on the grant use.

The Grant Awarding Committee will oversee that the selection of successful applicants is always done so in consideration of the scientific scope of the proposed participation and how it will support the ParAqua in achieving its scientific objectives. Additionally, the selection process also considers the EU COST Action principles of equal access and fair demographic representation.
