12 September 2024, Hybrid in Lyon France
The second Management Committee and Network Meeting of ParAqua GP3, the sixth of the Action (MC6), took place on the 2nd of September in Lyon France. The meeting was held as usual in hybrid mode to allow a large participation. The meeting was hosted by Serena Rasconi (Action Chair) and co-hosted by Laura Garzoli (WG1 Co-Leader)
The hosting team welcomed 27 participants from 13 countries. The meeting was organised following a participatory methodology and all Action MC Members and WG Members were invited to attend and participate to the discussions.
Main objectives were to update and inform on Action functioning since the last MC meeting that was held in April 2024 hybrid and hosted in Dubrovnik. The Action Chair presented the new Action participations, the budget status and reported on the GP activities and achievements. WG leaders and Committee Coordinators presented progress of each Working Group. Important progresses have been made in key deliverables such as the parasites database (WG1), the expertise database (WG3) and the review paper on the parasites occurrence based on molecular data (WG1), presented in a dedicated workshop held the day after the meeting.
