The first Management Committee and Network Meeting of ParAqua GP3, the fifth of the Action (MC5), took place on the 15th of April in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The Local Organiser was Ana Gavrilović from the University of Zagreb. The meeting was hosted by the Action Chair with the technical host Oliver Barić.
The hosting team welcomed 43 participants from 16 countries. The meeting was organised following a participatory methodology and all Action MC Members and WG Members were invited to attend and participate to the discussions.
Main objectives were to update and inform on Action functioning since the last MC meeting that was held in September 2023 hybrid and hosted in Almeria. The Action Chair presented the new Action participations, the budget status and the upcoming activities. WG leaders and Committee Coordinators presented progress of each Working Group. Important progresses have been made in key deliverables such as the parasites database (WG1), the expertise database (WG3) and the review paper on the parasites occurrence based on molecular data (WG1).
