The Network Meeting was organised following a socialization methodology aiming at attaining the following objectives:
- Networking and community building
- Inform on Action structure, methodology and planning
- Allow time for Question and Answers
The Stakeholder Platform was organised following a participatory methodology aiming at attaining the following objectives:
- Connect academia, industries and water management authorities/consultants to advance and apply knowledge and expertise on zoosporic parasites
- Discuss the needs for every sector for expanding knowledge and expertise on algal parasites
- Reach strong representation across Europe
- Search connections for MC inter-sector representatives
At the Stakeholders Platform, we invited industrial partners and water managers/consultants to present themselves and discuss their interests and expectations from joining the network.
Following the presentations, we discussed in two separated breakout rooms about needs and opportunities for every sector for expanding knowledge and expertise on algal parasites, valorisation of results and organisation of common activities with a particular focus on monitoring and control of parasites.
